If God seems quiet.

Matthew M. Price
“ My child, will you treasure My wisdom? Then, and only then, will you acquire it.”
Proverbs 2:1 TPT

God said to me,

“People are so passive with My word. They ponder it like puzzles and never respond like it’s a conversation. It’s why this generation is wandering not wondering.

I’ve told you what I would do in plain text, simply. Yet very little believe or sit still for it.”

God may be quiet for a little while because He’s watching you respond.

So many people just read the Bible and never answer. His Word never comes alive because they don’t talk back to Him like He’s alive. They read the Bible, mark it off their list, go about their day, and “think about it,” never changing. But in verse 1, God asked you a question. Will you answer?

If so, it doesn’t say He’ll answer and speak. It says You’ll change and inherit all that you believed Him for. “So train your heart to listen when I speak and open your spirit wide to expand your discernment.”

Jesus becomes your bodyguard AS YOU CHOOSE what’s right because He’s teaching you how to think, not telling you what to do all the time.

God is not a critical parent but a trusting one.

Jesus is not scared you’ll mess up or someone will “get you.” He’s confident in you and trusts you.

So much so that HE protects every decision you make, right or wrong, as we learn, and you cannot mess this up

If God seems quiet, it’s not because He’s distant. He’s waiting for you to respond

As you read His Word, talk to Him, and answer back! Don’t give up! And watch what happens next.

1 My child, will you treasure My wisdom? Then, and only then, will you acquire it.
2 So train your heart to listen when I speak and open your spirit wide to expand your discernment— then pass it on to your sons and daughters.
3 Yes, cry out for comprehension and intercede for insight.
4 For if you keep seeking it like a man would seek for sterling silver, searching in hidden places for cherished treasure, then you will discover the fear of the Lord and find the true knowledge of God.
6 Wisdom is a gift from a generous God, and every word he speaks is full of revelation and becomes a fountain of understanding within you.
7-8 For the Lord has a hidden storehouse of wisdom made accessible to his godly ones. He becomes your personal bodyguard as you follow his ways, protecting and guarding you as you choose what is right.
9 Then you will discover all that is just, proper, and fair, and be empowered to make the right decisions as you walk into your destiny.
10 When wisdom wins your heart and revelation breaks in, true pleasure enters your soul.
11 If you choose to follow good counsel, divine design will watch over you and understanding will protect you from making poor choices.
12 It will rescue you from evil in disguise and from those who speak duplicities.
13 For they have left the paths of righteousness and walk in the ways of darkness.
14 They take pleasure when evil prospers and thoroughly enjoy a lifestyle of sin.”
Proverbs 2:1-14 TPT
