We feel like we think, and unfortunately, not much popular content is available today that is helping us think right!
Pay attention to the lyrics of music today. It's defeated, lacking joy, and lifeless; not all music sees the best in all people. Yet that's what we feed ourselves the most.
Regardless of your feelings, you'll sound like what (or who) you listen to most. And many of us accidentally "sound" mad and unforgiving because that's what we choose to eat with most of the music we consume.
The average person listens to an average of 3 hours and 50 minutes of music daily. That's a lot of time to feed your mind every day, and what if we choose to fill our minds with God's thoughts? How would we feel, and what would our lives look like then? Hearing how much we're loved and how much Jesus is IN love with every one of us?
So that's what our music is for.
We write this music to help you think, ask questions, and recalibrate your mind to think godly thoughts throughout your day. Not everyone is talking about His heart, but we will! And we hope you use these songs often to encounter His heart daily.
Our music is spoken word. Why?
Because our world is lonely, people crave meaningful conversations and being heard! These thoughts through music will help start the most meaningful conversations you've ever had with Jesus Himself in the privacy of wherever you are - all in an instant. It's as simple as that!
If we can make a habit of talking to Jesus in private, our world will look much different and way more enjoyable in public! And Jesus would receive what He's desired all along, a real relationship with you.
Plus, talking about Christ and ourselves, our relationship with Him, is a very sensitive and vulnerable thing. Not everyone is ready to walk into a church or be "exposed." Not everyone is ready to open the bible or be seen doing so either. So this is to be enjoyed in private, where no one is watching, no one is judging, in the intimacy of your heart and home, wherever they may be.
As you'll see in Psalm 22, David had an attitude change in the middle of his worship and we can to, simply by tuning into a better Word, feeding our ears, minds, and heart a better diet.
