To be honest, no one has a problem with Jesus Himself. Jesus Christ is the most amazing person to have ever lived and still lives today! The only problem people have with Christ (and His Father, God) is how we have misrepresented them in our world, communities, and family.
I mean, how could you believe in a God who loves so much when Christians are made in His image and love so little? Fair enough?
The Bible was written in love to show you that you’re loved. I apologize on behalf of all Christians who have used His heart and His word (the Bible) as a weapon against you. You are not the problem in the world today, and that was never the purpose of the Holy Bible.
Please don’t let people in your past or present, including myself, get in the way of who God is. Allow Him to speak and love for Himself, and enjoy living the difference.
May today and every day after mark a lifetime spent seeing and enjoying a relationship and perspective of Jesus Himself. Learning that He doesn’t just “love,” but He is in love with each and every one of you.
